Homestuck
-Long Live the Queen (Ladystuck treat, WQ and PM, <1000) (technically written in 2011, but I jumped the gun on that year's meme!)

-Tired of Running (PM and Jack, 500)
-Deal (PM and Jack, <500)
-Stand (Jack/PM, ~1500)
-All Creatures Grim and Grotesque (for the Femslash Multifandom Ficathon, Kanaya/Rose, ~5000)

Everything else!
-No Glass Slipper (for Yuri Challenge, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Juri/Utena, ~2000)
-Saving Grace (Madoka Magica, Homura-centric, <1000)
-chapters 1-3 of Every Little Girl (Hunger Games, Foxface-centric, ~7000 so far)
-Perdendosi (for Yuletide, Madoka Magica, Sayaka-centric, ~2000)

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

A little bit less. I didn't do anything on last year's list except for the Yuri Challenge. Homestuck Big Bang didn't happen this year, I didn't sign up for Ladystuck because I thought it was going to fill up and didn't want to take someone's place, and I never wrote that "big" PM fic I keep promising myself I will. But I did do a couple other exchanges and a handfull of shorter PM stuff.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2012?

Explicit non-con porn.

...yeah.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?

All Creatures Grim and Grotesque! Five-thousand words of interspecies lesbians rehabilitating a wounded baby cthulu while bantering loquaciously is just very happy-making.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?

I'd never written smut before, and suddenly I jumped right to explicit non-con. If that's not a risk I don't know what is. I guess I learned that writing sex scenes is a lot less daunting for me if I just focus on the emotion rather than the sex. Which is something I'd always suspected, but never tried out.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

There are a couple projects I really need to finish in January. After that, I'd like to continue Every Little Girl at some point.

From my past year of writing, what was...

Best Story: No Glass Slipper, I think. Though I'm very proud of All Creatures too.

Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe: I wouldn't say any of them were underappreciated! If you change the question to "story I most wish had more comments on it" however... well, it's really unnerving to put something like Stand out there and get mostly radio silence in response.

Most Fun to Write: All Creatures! Kanaya's and Rose's voices are just such a pleasure to write.

Most Sexy: ...the one with actual sex in it? Maybe? Oh god...

Holy crap, that's wrong: Do I really need to repeat myself here?

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: There wasn't really anything like that this year!

Hardest to Write: Stand, but not by nearly as great a margin as I'd have guessed!

Biggest disappointment: I wish I'd signed up for Ladystuck. :(

Biggest surprise: That writing explicit non-con isn't that difficult for me. God damn it.

A story I want remembered: All Creatures, I think! It would be nice to build up my reputation as a Rosemary writer a little.
